On this day, not one, nor two- but three warm, plump and delicious hares swing idly from the large jowels of the Mother of Asteraia. Since the early onset of Spring, the critters have been stuffing their faces full of the bounty that the meadows and rolling hills all have to offer. It is an herbivores paradise and a carnivores own haven. For while it meant well for the prey, it boded even better for the predators that feasted upon them. And these specific hares that were brought down with as much care as to not even break the skin- they were for someone special in particular. And though Rhae did have her own mouths to feed, beside that of the entire pack of course, she wanted to gift the decent meal to Everlyse. She had not seen her friend in some time, and with the notion that she had children of her own, well, what better way to visit than with food in the mouth? The amusing thought has a warm smile brought upon her features, stretched rather wide around her mouthful of hare, and sooner rather than later large paws pause outside the entrance to Lyse's den. With her mouth full, she can give but a whine at first before gently setting her gifts at her large paws. Taking the moment she could she called down softly to whomever or whatever might lie within, though gentle sounds told her that many who were inside were in slumber. Hoping not to wake any but who she sought, she keeps her alto voice gentle and smooth. "Everlyse, it is Rhae and I have brought gifts for you." She would not enter the den, and could only hope that her pale friend could hear her or was awake enough to. If not, she would leave the meal just inside the entrance and be on her way as it was only polite. The earth toned wolf hoped very much that her friends face would appear at the entrance, but, truly, she could only wait as the time passed by. Teal eyes are all for the den, but she does occasionally glance around herself if only to check her surroundings. The dens of the four brothers were indeed within the pack land, but not very far in- and with two fresh litters of pups, well.. one could never be too careful. If she could, Rhae would move the Mothers herself within the very heart of Asteraia, but this was where the four had chosen to den, so too were their mates. The Mother of Asteraia would never dream of or even imagine separating any hearts, and so the thought never really even crossed her mind. If any of the brothers wished to move further in Asteraia, they would be more than welcome, as would each of their beloveds. They were all family, after all, even if the males did not consider themselves pack. They were to Rhae, and that was enough for her after all. |
