Colors
A many poetic verse could I write
to speak of the way a heart doth take flight.
How love leaves a rainbow, a beautius aray.
How such enchanting colors may yet lead you astray.
There's red for the flesh.
For a lover's embrace.
Orange for infidelity.
To confess your disgrace.
Yellow for gold.
A lifetime of wealth.
Green is for vows.
In sickness and health.
Blue is for honesty.
Stay true to your love.
Purple for ambition.
Which bears not the above.
Alas there's one color of which I’ve not spoke.
It's violet which stands for a life full of hope.
So many a color fill the lines in between.
Which colors are your love?
