Not a bad idea to get to the main lake. We thought about it but were only fishing that morning and didn't want to waste anymore time. I had some youngsters with me and they had a ball just being out ice fishing.
I haven't been chasing the s-eye as much in the last 5 years, I was studying engineering at OSU. Only made it out a few times each spring and fall for the easier day bites. My dad is retired now and brags about his days on the water while I'm crunching data at work... He's yet to really figure them out though w/out me hehe
But I'm looking forward to applying more of my problem solving skills to the s-eye chase now that's school's in the books for me!
