it seems that as state wild life official would know that the bobcat usually dose not grow to that size and does not have a long tail. did the caretaker notice a long tail with a black tip or a short stubby tail? this seems to be the only question they should be asking.to determine wich cat attacked his horse. and bob cats don't take prey that size unless the horst was a small pony and I mean small.
