walleye/ saugeye don't go over the spillway, they migrate as far up a river as they can , once blocked by a ####, gorge or any obstacle they will congregate there for a pre spawn party(for us). Most of the time the males come in 1st and go out last, the females come in right before they spawn and return quickly back to the deeper waters. This is why when we have a warm spell with run off the eyes will be thick in the mound wood / north fork waters Replies:
