Rules• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders. • Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission. • All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say. • Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met. • You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page. • Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce. |

 And it's consequences keep you up at night. He lurked around in the muck, day in - day out, with little purpose or direction. His only interaction with his fellow "brothers" thus far had been with Fallo, a large grey stallion whom had left a sour taste in the buckskin's mouth. Kasabian hoped that returning here would be uplifting. That abandoning his herd in the Ridge would take a weight off his shoulders, but that was not proving to be the case. He couldn't rid his mind of these demons. He was in a foul mood all of the time and for reasons he couldn't quite understand. Kasabian stook idly against the rough-edged bark of a leaning oak, green eyes staring into nothing. He was half awake when the slopping sounds of heavy hooves in mud disturbed him. His weight shifted to balance evenly over all four limbs and his eyes blinked in succession until he could see clearly again. It was then that he spied the yearling, the stubby, though stout boy trudging through the muck alone. A golden lobe flicked forward and back as he watched him with half interest. Obviously he didn't know him, but the boy seemed a bit young to be here. He was probably one of Felony's recruits. The Lagoon had taken an interest in the bastard youth of the other islanders lately. It wasn't all that long ago that Kasabian sworn off his own kin to Felony. But the promise fell through when the buckskin stud never bothered to mate with his mares at all. Speak of the devil ... It didn't take long for Felony to zero in on the boy, stalking him like prey from behind the brush. Kasabian watched the scene play out. It wasn't his place to step in protect the boy -- the yearling would have to learn this time or another -- but for some reason, he was drawn to the situation. With a heaving grunt, Kasabian moved forward, wincing twice as his ailing hip kicked into motion. As he approached, his ears were pinned, green eyes watching Felony. He snorted loudly to warn them both of his intrusion, smacking two rows of blunt, yellowed teeth together to warn Felony he wasn't about to buzz off. As he settled a fair distance apart from both other men, he sized up the young boy. Something about him was familiar. "You heard the man. What do you want?"
