Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Note: Susil Crags will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

THERE'S A BAD MAN IN EVERYONE any

Perhaps it had showed cowardice, but I had ran. It had been only a couple of days since the attack on my old group, and my body still showed the signs of the attack. Dried, dark blood stained several places on my already dark pelt. Some of the blood was mine, and some of it belonged to other wolves- the one who had left a particularly nasty gash on my chest had been left with an even nastier gash in his throat. I wasn't exactly proud of the fact that I had left the group behind, but what was I supposed to do? Let myself get killed? Live to die another day, that's what I say, and hopefully that day is nowhere in the near future.

So I ran. And somehow, I had ended up here. There was a pervasive stench of wolf-scent, and I figured that these lands were pretty well-populated. Though I tended to like my personal space, I also wasn't a total recluse, and aside from that- without other wolves, there was simply nothing to do. Over the past few days, I hadn't had a chance to rest- and it showed in my dusty, bloody fur- so I hadn't had a chance to think about what had happened. But now that I had time to catch my breath... the fact that the only 'family' i had ever known was dead filled me with a cold sense of sadness. It was a feeling that I was fairly unfamiliar with... I hadn't had much cause for sadness in my life. All things considered, up until a few days ago, I had been living quite happily and quite comfortably.

But that all had to change, didn't it? I wondered who life thought it was, taking everything away from me like that. Happens to the best of us, I guess. I thought with a small snort. It really wasn't fair. I swallowed past the lump in my throat as the thought of my father entered my head. He had been a bastard, but I loved him anyway. He had taught me all that I knew, and realistically, was the reason that I was still alive.

I shot a pointed glare at the moon that hung high in the sky, because it seemed like it was looking down on me and laughing. It's bright, smiling face was mocking me. Suddenly the feeling of dirt and blood on my pelt became very heavy, and my eyelids began to flutter closed. Letting out a low growl, I tried to shake the tiredness from my bones, but it seemed as thought it had seeped through every part of me. I would need to rest soon.
