Dr. Gauthier is a key in this CBC presentation. Dr. Gauthier did fantastic cougar research in Canada, starting about a decade ago. He designed a clever bait to attract the cats, and means to get hair samples from them. He has confirmed population in 2 of the 3 Canadian provinces we have mentioned. However, he only did one set of surveys in Nova Scotia, and that was a decade ago. That's the province he came up empty in with his one set of surveys. Since that time, there have been confirmations in Nova Scotia as well. The above in no way references Dr. Gauthier if that is the show Helen is speaking of. Replies: There have been no replies.
