It's one thing to retire but another to be forced out, especially after all those years of service!
When the job that you were ELECTED to by the people in the community becomes unpleasant because the Town Supervisor and her "committee" have decided they can do it better, well it's either put up with the harassment every month or "retire" and that's just what they wanted Carl to do. So, again, the Town suffers because of poor choices!
Maybe eventually it will come to "one" person running the whole Town and it's pretty close to that now!
