School bus in spring Posted on April 17, 2015 at 03:54:26 AM by Nath Rockhill
On the Carden Plain this week, from the yellow bus, my blue eyes scan blackbirds with red wings. Blue birds flit, as black vultures sore gracefully above searching for, something? The migration, the observation and the learning, the application of brakes that teach, before we ever get to school, is that fox poncing on crisp golden winter grass, right there! For the first time this spring, all windows open, and all devises are laid down. All the children and I gasp with delight, as we ponce on this new day. -- Mark, Quaker Oaks
