 And it's consequences keep you up at night. His nostrils flare, the soft, whiskered skin there pulling tight as he inhaled, the sides of his golden barrel growing before he allowed a heavy, gurgling grunt to be released. A gentle breeze whipped through the open land and the stallion welcomed the relief from the heat, as it ruffled through the matted tresses of his thick mane, even though it was brief. The sooner he could put Salem in his rear-view, the better. And thanks to his new friend with the terrible manners, it looked like he'd be leaving sooner rather than later. Kasabian's emerald eyes roll around his skull as the shorter male garbles something in a foreign tongue, too good to speak in the language used among the residents on the islands. Then why settle here at all? Kasabian snorts something foul at the brute as he watches him steady himself to lunge. Kasabian does not flinch, instead a wiry smirk grows over his whiskered lips. "Alrighty then." He says in acknowledgement of the nameless brute's disregard for any kind of ally-like relationship. He was dumb to at least not hear him out. I mean, Kasabian had traveled all this way. But it made no real difference to the buckskin stallion. He delivered the message he was told to, and now he could get back to doing things of more worth than ambling around Salem talking to assholes. "Your funeral, my friend." Kasabian's head rises high above his withers and he kicks his frame into gear. He begins to back away from Gabbar slowly, his dull hooves dragging lazily in the sand. Once a good deal of distance had been placed between them, Kasabian pivots on his haunches and heads back the way in which he came, nostrils flared and ear lobes pricked forward, anxious for the sights and smells of the sea.
