The imprint thing was strange for sure with all the feelings that came with it, but he was grateful for the color that reached his eyes, and he could not help that urge to make sure that Anemone was alright through the pain. Yes, it was obvious to him that it had been the birth to have done it, to have caused those ghosted feelings within him as well, but there were things that might go wrong with giving birth too, he thinks. He didn't know what he'd have done if that happened, though it was the feelings of joy from Anemone that kept him from panicking. He was still concerned, still technically trespassing into a pack that he was not a part of. But to not come to Anemone's side now hadn't been an option to his mind. It simply hadn't.

He did feel a slight upbeat spark when he had called to Anemone, that she was okay with him being there, at least. One could never know when it came to birthing mothers, but the need to be there for her was too strong to just ignore. If she sent him away he would handle that, but the choice was hers as to if he should remain or not. Unless an alpha chased him out, which was also a valid option if one did so. Still, his mind did not go in that direction right now, because he could hear the sound of Anemone's voice and it helped calm his frayed nerves a good deal. Four of them were okay. Sabriel let out an audiable sigh of relief at those words, though he did not get a chance to go in at all.

Someone else had arrived, and Sabriel flopped onto his belly to show that he held no ill intent here, staring at the female with the pup held and listening to the growl that came from her. It didn't sound mean, and he scooted away from the den's entrance and watched as she went into it. He felt a spark of concern, because how was he to be sure that this female did not intent harm to Anemone and the pups? If he felt just a hint of discomfort from Anemone he would be moving in there quickly. Anything else wouldn't do. Still, Anemone was welcoming to the female and Sabriel stayed put, listening to the voices in the den. He intended to stick around and see what was going on, and perhaps go off to find Anemone food afterwards...
