Scythe had no clue what had driven him into the cold frigid waters, abandoning his babysitting job to chase after the younger stallion he had seen slinking through the shadows of the lagoon and then head off into the ocean. Maybe it was the gold eyes he had seen, the way Scythe knew who was family as any kid of felony always seemed to take on those wolfish eyes of his. It was a bit freaky, yet really cool. Well scythe hoped the young stallion he was trailing after was some sort of kin, not wanting to make such a stupid trip for nothing and have this stranger think he was a creep. Even if he wasn't the other was still a brother of the lagoon, and it would do no good if something were to happen to the young stallion. With that thought in mind Scythe swam on.

All this swimming seemed to go on forever and ever, but finally after a while an island rose up ahead and Scythe breathed out a very long relieved sigh when he spies the other stallion climbing up the beach. Not wanting to lose sight of him Scythe tries to hurry, kicking his legs as fast as he can until he finally feels the ground beneath him and pulls himself free of the water. He stumbles and shakes at the same moment, not at all graceful. After a few seconds he is warily following the trail his fellow lagoon brother has left entering the forest.

Entering another stallion's land like this felt so bad yet left Scythe feeling giddy all over and added a skip to his step as he hurried along the path to get to his fellow lagoon brother. When he finally comes upon the other boy, his eyes widen as he sees the two painted stallions going after each other. He isn't sure what to do or if he should step in. After a few minutes he decides to stay close but not participate as his eyes find another male standing by the trees on the opposing stallions side. Should that one decide to go after his brother Scythe would defiantly step in.
