Falls

little RED had made it through the winter without incident. Alone, and forced to stay on this singular Island, little RED had managed to keep herself alive, while she did come out on th other wise a little thinner than normal, it was nothing that fresh spring greens couldn't fix. Currently she was trying to find her way to the fresh water that her nostrils had detected after filling her belly in the morning light. She was slow, and unbothered by the winds that twirled through her red and white mane. She yawned, before shaking her head and moving forward.

When she reached the waters edge, the red roan paint lowered her head and drank deeply. As she lifted her head, the water droplets running down her cheek and her whiskers. Ears twitched back and forth but with the the deafening falls, it was hard to hear anything else. She waded a little farther into the water, watching as the dusts and dirt from winter flowed down river and her legs became white again instead of the dusty cream. little RED had managed to survive her encounter with a rogue stallion called Ruger but she knew with spring present, they would be looking for new candidates for mothers. little RED had little desire to be a part of that.

A quick turn of her head and she thought she was well enough alone, thus she slowly lowered herself into the cool pool, keeping her pink nose well above the water. The dirt from the winter washed clean from at least most of her, she waded out. And it was then that a soft breeze tickled her skin and she shook off the excess water with a satisfied groan. Only when she stopped did she realize that she had company. "And you are?" It was not the most polite, but little RED had no use for politeness or beating around the bush. She was much more prone to going directly to the heart of the matter.
