Ava would have been confused by El Halin’s reaction to Yusuf and sympathetic towards his response. She would probably slightly intimidated by her manner, but would have kept quiet about it and acknowledged her with a nod and a small smile regardless. When Carisa arrived, Ava would have greeted her with a smile, seeing that she seemed nervous. After Orhan spoke, Ava would have introduced herself to the others warmly and explained that since she hadn’t been living in the Desert very long she didn’t really feel qualified to suggest anyone for the position of lead mare.
