Nodding in understanding, the vanner contemplated for a moment. ”Each of the islands are different. They may be worth a look if you feel safe going into another’s territory.” He shifted his weight uncertainly. At one point he had visited another island, claimed by other stallions with vast herds. Comparatively speaking, Luthien had been lush and pleasant. Forests and fields grew on the earth, food was plentiful and he assumed the weather was fairly pleasant and mild. He heard tales of the other islands and their variety. Part of him wanted to see these lands, if only to experience them, but his hooves knew he was home. Pirate’s, he felt, were not ready to sink as deep into the ground. He was still concerned though, if she found another island more to her liking. He would not stop her if she chose to leave, but he would fight for her if she was being kept from coming back.

She joked with him and he laughed easily. As her walls came down and her spirit returned Pagan started to relax and feel comfortable around her. The young man he truly was started to shine through who he had come to be. The shyness and quiet that had ruled his life up until he had someone to talk to started to slip away in the laughter he was discovering. He smiled and bowed his head to his knee at her.

”Believe me, it is my pleasure to be ‘stuck’ with you, my lady.” His head came back up and he shook the white to black array of mane out of his eyes. ”The wind is fierce and when you only have the strange deer to try to talk to, it gets lonely. I hope any others who find their way here are as pleasant as you.”
