The Rules
  • There will be no fraternizing with enemies. If you put yourself knowingly in danger, don't expect a rescue.
  • We are only as strong as our weakest link. See to it that you are getting stronger in some skill that is useful, whether it is battling, recruiting, charming, etc.
  • The King and Queen have final say in all matters.

She dreamed of paradise

As always Carisa dosent hear Orhan's hasty approach; not that she would have anyway with the tiny new addition laying at her feet. The colt had her full undivided attenion, something that would never change. She noses at him again, inhaling his scent before pulling back and finally looking towards Orhan as he steps up beside her. She wasn't surprised to find him here already and greets him with a smile. Her eyes look to his lips when they part and ask a question. Carisa looks down at their son as he moves and then looks to Orhan again, "he is perfectly okay. Just as tired as his mother." Reaching over she nudges Orhan and then steps back to the colt's side, missing what else Orhan says as she begins checking the boy over a little more now that he had moved.

Satisfied that everything was still very much okay Carisa stops her prodding to take a few steps back and call to her boy in an encouraging manner, wanting him to rise and stand; especially now that Orhan was here. It seemed right that his father should see his first steps as well.

"He's perfect Orhan," she breathes out while her eyes are still firmly on the colt, "thank you." Now she glances sideways, nodding her head at her stallion and letting him know that this was okay, that her being pregnant had been okay, and the birth of their child was okay as well. Despite her past worries Carisa had managed fine so far, but the draft mare knew the hardest part was yet to begin. She would have to learn how to tend to a foal without being able to hear; but as stated before Carisa wasn't going to let her son out of her sight unless he was with Orhan or one of the others in the herd.

She could do this. She could be a great mother.
