The mare was clearly putting up with him, that was certainly clear enough to Al-Sarim as he observed her movements. They were of similar coloring though her pelt had a pretty honey tint to it, whereas his own skin was dark and tainted with black here and there. Her reaction to his little proposal was rather amusing to him, and he smiled as she moved away from him, braced to spring or hurl mud and water at him. As she shook her head, thick dark locks swaying, he patiently continued to probe with his questions until a sigh was won…something he interpreted as her giving in. It was something of a mystery to him…was a kiss really such a sinful thing to ask? Perhaps the bay beauty had little experience with stallions, and he further could not imagine how stallions could ignore this lovely soul.

With no real reaction to his questions as to which island she resided in, he presumed she lived on the Crossing. At last a response when he asked if she lived alone. No. To his second question there was something of a hesitation. The brute was asking in jest perhaps to make the lady smile, but he certainly sounded serious saying it. His head tossed and a snort emitted as she silently turned away from him, a sort of surprised curiosity overcame him. "And what is this? Tara my love, you do not find me pleasant to look at? Do not be bashful… He chuckled as he skipped to her side and then pivoted to stand before her. Did he see a hint of smile? "Perhaps you would like a closer look…" With a playful smile, he raised his head high and turned slowly from side to side before tossing his dark locks.
