She closes her crystal blue eyes, for the first time in months, she is not afraid, she is not alone. She sighs contently, she lets his musk fill her nostrils and her memory. Her eyes slowly open as she looks at him from underneath a veil of pearl hued eyelashes. She studies him, she sees the hesitation and knows that he had made difficult decisions, but they had led him home. "I understand, you needed to see if this was your home." She pauses, then continues. "But, you are home now." As she finishes her sentence, she sighs.
Her crystal eyes settle on as face, she notices the smile that turns his dark lips upward. A smile? She can not help but return a smile as well, soon it turns into a wider smile as he mentions that he had found a home. In the ridge, and that he had secured a second position. "For..For us?" She almost stutters. A look of surprise in her eyes, that soon turns to excitement and giddiness. "I had only hoped that you would want me to join you." Then her thoughts turn to Zaida, would he allow her to come with them?
"Zaida." She breathes. "Would you allow her to come with us?" Once she found her, she thinks. She was still a child, only a year of age. Caesisus had not been there for her daughter until this point, she would be there for her from now on. "I know she is not your blood, but she needs a father." Her thoughts darken at the thought of the dappled monster that was her father. She refused to let him into her life or Zaida's.
