There will be 4 ( Four ) Pension Board Meetings on Wednesday July 22, 2015, starting at 10:30 AM.
The first three will be Make Over Meetings due to the Board not allowing Retiree Dennis Ribaya to attend meetings on 7/25/2012, 8/21/2012 and 9/26/2012.
The 2nd District Court of Appeals ruled that the Board violated the Government in Sun Shine Law by trespassing Retiree Ribaya for 90 days and not allowing him to attend meetings.
This was instigated by the Past Administrator and Past Board Chairman PJ Gray who were given erroneous advice from Interim Plan Attorney Patrick Gonyea.
This BAD ADVICE has caused our fund approx. $200,000.00 so far and is still on going and not settled as yet, so the bill is still climbing.
Thank goodness the Board did not hire attorney Gonyea as Plan Attorney.
The 4th meeting will be the regularly scheduled meeting for July and will start at 1:30 PM.
