Dead memories of a Legend
Chapter III Prophecy of Dark days
The skies listened to my call and responded to my feelings as it always did. Perhaps sometimes it failed. Perhaps sometimes it did not follow me as I was. But I should be thankful for that. Wasting my powers wasn’t something good to do, especially with such things. Doesn’t matter how tempted and deeply offended that made me. But tonight I was going to waste them. My paws hit the ground with strength, carrying me towards the crags. Winds blew from everywhere, worshiping my big frame with the glory it deserved. It helped me with my mission, tossing my scent far away from myself. It would be so much more difficult to see me coming.
They sent angels after me and I knew it wouldn’t be the first time. After they sheltered a prisoner of war and I simply left. They sent this project of a wolf after me to distract me. The message had been sent back and now one more wolf is on my list.
They were marching back to Diveen. Wherever they went, their stench was left behind them, dissipating and leaving me breathless with despise. And as such…. I remembered the day a wolf had taken me against my will to a pack and he had the pleasure to interview me. For the first time I my travel all was falling in place again. He accepted me and asked for my story. I told him everything. Then. After I got out of that pack, days later. I saw him going to Diveen. It was clear all that time. He was an angel and probably a spy. The only wolf who actually seemed to accept the truth in this doomed earth was lying to me. Out of everything one could have done to me that was the worse.
I’ve finally managed to find him. He came to the crags as his scent told me and he was somewhere around here. I walked slowly, making no sound, avoiding the little light there was. He was probably in a cave, seeking shelter from the apparent…Storm. So let it be known. I hope he got the message.
Today I’m not coming to talk. I’m coming for him.
