ML sighting? IP: 74.78.93.250 Posted on August 6, 2015 at 10:06:18 PM by Kim Smith
I live in Littleton, NH and commute to/from Hanover, NH. I travel route 302 then route 10 so I see a fair share of wild life. Coming home today I saw something run across the road that I can't put in any other category of animal I've seen. I witnessed it just as I was entering Lisbon, NH just at the speed limit sign of 35 MPH, residential houses we call the "acre" just a little further up on the right. I was heading north on route 302. It came out of the brush on the left and cleared both traffic lanes in 2-3 strides and disappeared up the bank on my right. Describing the animal I would say this; light brown/tan in color, long stride, muscular, small head, about the height of my bumper, moved like a cat, I would estimate the length while in stride to be nearly two thirds the width of my lane or approx. 8 feet. I didn't see a tail but could have been between its hind legs. Time of day was 5:10 pm. Replies: There have been no replies.
