right now it don't make sense

sometimes the greater plan is kinda hard to understand...

Love. What good was it when she couldnt't express how she felt? Touches and looks didn't show what she really wanted to explain, it couldn't say the depth of how she felt about him. She had been amazed by him from the first day, he hadn't argued with his father, just took her in, made her the first mare in his herd, and when it grew, he had told her she didn't need to speak to be a good mother, but look at her now! She barely knew her son, or if he was still around, she was sure if she saw him he'd hate her too. She couldn't believe how stupid she was being, it was no one else's fault, only her own. She knew in her heart she was afraid of being a failure, and her wandering led to her leaving, and she couldn't explain why she did it, time and time again, but it was no one else's issues, only her own stupidity in her mind.

The falls had a calming affect on the girl's racing heart, thinking about how things used to be always got her heart racing like a wild cheetah, making it feel as if it would explode at any minute. Her nose was low to the rocks that lined the falls, the misty water spraying in her face kept her more than oblivious to what was going on around her, so when his teeth grasped at the crest of her neck, she threw her head up, eyes wide, Only to catch a mere glimpse of Braylen's face as he pushed at her with his shoulder, causing her to falter back a few steps. A bit of panic raced through her viens as she tried to make sense of what was going on, he was pushing at her, going around her all over.

It took her a minute to realize he was marking her as his, not that she had ever belonged to anyone other than him, especially at heart, it was strange, he had never claimed her like that before, it was more than out of character for the Braylen that she knew, but then again, she had left for a while again, so who knows how he had changed since she left. When he finally stopped rubbing against her and finally stood still, pressed tightly against her, she turned her head, pressing the flat of her skull against the side of his neck, closing her eyes tightly as she breathed him in.

She stayed like that until he spoke, she pulled away so she could look at his face, she didn't know how to show her remorse for what she had done. Instead, she just shut her eyes. Her neck arched and she sighed, a soundless breath that whooshed from her lungs. He spoke again, but only after his muzzle brushed against her cheek. She turned her head into his caress, her eyelids flickering. His words that followed felt like a knife to the heart, she jerked her head back, eyes opening, she shook her head, more adamant than anything, no, it was never his fault.. She craned her neck, touching her nose to her own chest, then looking at him.

She was desperate to tell him that it was all her, and in her haste, her maw opened, as if she was really trying to speak, only to shut it and toss her head to the side, it was so frustrating wanting to tell him but not having any means at all to explain that it was her, all her, and always would be, that he was perfect to her, in every way but she couldn't. She couldn't even tell him how much she loved him, pathetic right? Her eyes looked forlorn at the ground for a few moments before lifting slowly to meet his gaze, would he be able to understand? It was hard to tell.
