Xina was a patient creature and stood and waited in silence after her call had faded away. Slowly the herd gathered to her with only a few members absent; members she knew would not show. Her ears flicked to the young mare's question of her and the roan gave a faint shake of her head. "Nothing for you to fret over, Jökulrós. It is just time for the herd to move" she answered before her eyes drifted over the other members that had gathered to her. "With breeding season upon us it is time we travel to a more secure location. I would appreciate everyone sticking together for the season as well, for safety" she added, her eyes moving over to rest on Chanti a moment before the roan mare turned away. So far Xina had respected the mare's need to be in solitude, but she would not tolerate that need if it put the rest of the members in danger. They did not need to appear scattered to outsiders.

Turning away from the gathered equines, Xina set off at a long strided walk that was filled with purpose. The mare did not lack confidence; she knew where she was going and she knew that the others would follow or else they would not have came. Her ears did twist back every once in awhile to make certain of her surroundings, but otherwise kept her focus ahead as she remained quiet. It would be awhile before they reached where she was leading them. Xina recalled a territory that was once called the Thicket which was located on the farthest side of Luthien from the other Islands and that is where the roan mare planned on hiding them away.
