Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to
yourself. She will not be sullied or traded, unless you deem otherwise. But should you bring a mare here without a new brother first, then I will consider her property of the Lagoon as a whole
and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

we're the trash in your bed

Whatever you’re thinking about saying, DON’T say it.

Psychedelic bit back the smart comment that was already on his tongue, though his mood soured that he had to. The voice, he knew, was right to warn him. Unless Psychedelic wanted a pinch of a bite or to drag his reputation down he’d be wise not to smart off to the new boss. So, with that in mind, he swallowed down the urge to call the boss Mister Grumpy Hooves and instead flicked his ears and turned his gaze out to the Lagoon. Where the heck was everyone? They were here, he knew they were, he’d catch smells of them every once in a while and they’d voiced their opinion on who should be boss… Actually, remembering that, Psychedelic remembered there was still that one bachelor he was real curious to meet…

Then, there was movement. Well, two movements to be exact. First, Felony turned so he could give Psychedelic his full attention, which was sort of a big deal when the boss laid eyes on you and you alone. Psychedelic flicked his ears and met the boss’ gaze… only then there was the second movement. His attention was stolen by the approach of a colt whose black coat was graying out. He looked familiar enough for Psychedelic to crack a grin of recognition. He remembered this kid, the one who was going to come live here because… well, Psychedelic couldn’t remember if he’d told him why.

“Yo, Tithe,” greeted Psychedelic with a lopsided grin, right before Felony’s ears pinned and he appeared every bit of Mister Grumpy Hooves that Psychedelic had considered calling him before. Recognizing that happy tales of reunion would need to wait, Psychedelic looked from Felony to Tithe and hoped the kid was ready to speak, or else he didn’t know what was about to happen.
