Finding my blood relations in Spirane had been a blessing beyond my beliefs. I had only ever dreamed of finally meeting with the family that I had heard from stories for so many years. While my heart and soul remained with the mountain I had visited, I was intent on finding out as much as I possibly could from the rest of Moladion. I would not simply be just another privileged pack wolf with little knowledge of what else lays beyond the borders. Perhaps I could even encourage someone to follow me back to the mountain range when I was ready to return.
My beautifully crafted figure of silvers and earth tones moves with intent across the unclaimed realms of this world. It was so vastly different than that of my birthplace, water nearly covering it on all sides, but I was learning to like it. A howl upon the air and the cloud of mixed odors has me stopping in my tracks and standing at attention as my head swivels around in the direction it had come from. There was a rather large gathering and I instantly thought of how I could benefit from the occasion.
With an eagerness in my step I turn to follow the sounds of others gathering and soon find myself climbing upon the rocky face of a large, solitary mount. It is a rather large gathering considering the closeness of the rocks and most of the wolves seem to be preoccupied with conversations or just simply sitting and looking around at one another. It was the strangest thing I had ever seen. I quickly found a small group of individuals who were conversing together and decided to migrate toward them. Both males smelled distinctly of pack territories while the red speckled female seemed just as untethered as myself.
”Is this a random hunting party? A recruiting session? Does anyone even know what they’re doing here?” I chuckle at the end as I look between the three of them.
