Rules � The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders. � Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission. � All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say. � Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met. � You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page. � Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

I stand alone

Zalika knew how this would go; her punishments weren't as severe as Felony's but maybe having the beast go after its son was what was needed in such a case,and who knows, in the long run it could prove to be very beneficial to the supposedly grown stallion. She tries to tone out everything but the sleeping filly in front of her as Felony moves toward Scythe, yet she can't help but to flinch as Scythe's first pain filled squeal sounded. The roan woman made sure to keep her body turned to hide was happening in case Osceola woke to the noise.

Scythe wasn't sure what to expect when it came to his father, but the scar that still marked his mother's face gave the stallion a good idea as what was to come. He tenses when Felony moves, but he doesn't look up, knowing he would only shy away from what was to come. There was a pause and then it hit him, blunt teeth clenching down onto his neck that was left vulnerable as he had his head lowered. While the teeth were not sharp, they gripped and pulled with the force behind the bite that wrenched open skin and let blood flow, making Scythe squeal despite trying to be strong for himself. His head came up, swinging around when Felony released him, only to turn away when he saw hooves flying and ducked but they hit the shoulder Zalika had already wounded and Scythe almost went down, a groaning sound escaping his throat as his eyes fluttered with the pain. Holding the leg up a little somehow he manages to stay upright, to keep from face planting right into the mud, until Felony goes for a leg in his final attack and Scythe makes the mistake of trying to yank himself forward and away from his father's teeth. He falls, much to Zalika's horror as she had finally given in and turned to see what was happening. It was enough.

"Leave him," Zalika calls to Felony, stepping away from her daughter to stand between father and son. She looks down at Scythe with a cold look to her eyes, "leave here before the wolves come; i will not protect you, not today." He gives a tiny nod, and struggles to stand while she continues to watch and hobbles off as best he can, blood dripping off his dirty coat and onto the ground. When he is out of sight she turns her attention back to Felony, her gaze slightly warming.

"I wonder if he will be strong enough to last through the night," she softly muses before moving past her beast after touching his neck to nuzzle at their filly.
