there's a stone around my leg

livamyyo

The briefest glimmer of a smile touched the red filly’s lips as she felt her hooves make contact with colt and heard the surprised protest of pain that dropped from his mouth. That’ll teach him to mess with me, she thought proudly, her expression turning stony again as she turned her head to watch him in case he should make another silly move or retaliate. He looked somewhat upset by her reaction, and for a fleeting moment she almost felt bad about it; almost.

But he was a monster, and only a fool would feel bad about hurting a monster; Livamyyo was no fool.

The colt conceded that she was not naïve, and she took that as proof that he had been trying to trick her. She understood why her mother had warned her against visiting the shore now, but she also felt that her mother did not need to be so worried; Livamyyo would not be taken in by such trickery. She was smarter than that. ”I can see perfectly well.” she countered as she walked away. Even as he circled her, she did not stop until he halted right in her path.

”Dance with me” he asked once; the second time was not a request. Livamyyo snorted and narrowed her eyes, contemplating biting or kicking him again but she merely straightened up and sidestepped past him with a simple, clipped ”No”. She just needed to get to the trees, she reminded herself, and the beast could not follow.
