A shiver slid down Dany’s spine as the wind nipped at her. It would likely take a few Winters for her to become accustomed to this type of cold, but she would manage. She looked a Nephilim carefully. She smiled at him as he spoke. Her ears tipped forward as he said thank you. She was glad she had followed her heart instead of her mind and followed him to this glorious place. Cold, yes, but she could grow used to it with time.

I’m glad you decided to come. He spoke to her. She gazed at him quietly, humbly. She felt her heart tighten slightly at the words. He was glad she was here. She didn’t know what to say. Not to keep him at bay long, she looked towards the wood line. The place was truly breathtaking. “How long have you been here?” She murmured quietly. Truthfully, she didn’t want this time with him to end. He made her feel safe, welcomed. That was a feeling she thought was long gone. It felt nice to be wanted, to be near someone. Hopefully, this would last a long time, if not forever. Dany was tired of moving, running.
