She dreamed of paradise
4; MUTT; 16’3; DEAF; RURISK x INDY

Winter was suppose to bring the cold and the snow, but Carisa had come to learn that Salem wasn't like the other places; Winter meant rain here apparently, and Carisa was not a happy camper. At least she hadn't sprouted too much of a winter coat, but she was still drenched and miserable as time passed and she found her height limited her available hiding places. She could have joined Orhan and Koray, who she had seen earlier spending time with each other, though decided to go off on her own as she usually did only to return when the rain grew from its little trickle and before the oasis was gone from her sight. Perhaps she'd join her handsome men after all.

Carisa was oblivious, as always, to anything that went down between father and son; perhaps her wish for a perfect family was what blinded her from what was really going on. Either way she closed the distance between her and themselves, belly swinging as she sauntered over, brushing her nose against Orhan's shoulder first in greeting and then stepping forward to do the same to Koray. "Anyone want to move to the crossing for the rest of the winter? I can deal with snow, but this rain? Gotta invest into a bigger rock Orhan, " she gently teases when standing beside him again, reaching over to pull at one of his ears. Her blue eyes go back to Koray after a few minutes, her smile widening just looking over how much her boy had grown, a far cry from the leggy little thing he had once been and it made her eyes water.

"So grown up, even soaked and cold your so handsome," she croons to Koray, though still making sure to glance over toward Orhan in case he starts to say something. Oblivious she was to what was right in front of her, what needed to be questioned and answered yet she continous on as if life was perfect and it wasn't about to go crashing down; which it would when she learns of Koray's fate. He was her firstborn and would always hold a special place in her heart, and to have him leave would break her.
