CHARITABLE ADVERTISING on Web Site There are many worthwhile charitable causes in existence, but we can only accept sponsorship or fundraising efforts on Fusilier Association websites, that specifically support approved Fusilier charities. This essentially means that it is acceptable to use these pages to seek sponsorship for The Fusiliers Aid Society (which includes Fallen Fusiliers), and The Fusilier Memorial fund only. We now have our own dedicated justgiving site (http://www.justgiving.com/fusiliersaidsociety), which you can use to help raise money for your cause. If you let RHQ (Asst Regt Sec) know the specific cause you are raising money for, it will be directed to the correct fund. Messages soliciting sponsorship for causes or charities other than the Fusilier ones mentioned above should not be placed on the message board and may be removed by the Webmaster.
Messages posted in the last 24 hrs. are in White.

Dear Prime Minister,
Britain must fast becoming the laughing stock of the Universe.
£40,000 a year of our taxes, being paid to a man in Afghanistan, to go around the country asking people if they have a complaint about the behaviour of British Troops and look or ask for yes and demand compensation. Who, in that country is going to miss the opportunity of a lifetime and refuse such an invitation?
Our Troops have suffered atrocities resulting in the loss of limbs yet you pay a man £40,000 per year to condemn these troops. SHAMEFUL.
It seems that everything we do in Britain is designed for the benefit of unscrupulous Lawyers to rake in more tax payer’s money, much of it payed by the very troops you allow to be condemned.
It would be just, for those same troops to resign and see where it would leave us. Fortunately, their discipline would not allow them to do that.

Those who have never faced an armed enemy being given freedom to make £millions.
These Lawyers should get down on their hands and knees and thank God that we still produce brave men and women who are willing to put their lives on the line for our security.
I ask you and the MOD to stop this injustice immediately and bring it to a close.
****************************
Recent Flooding of vast areas is something we can combat given the “Will” and funding.
Here, I refer to my letter of 23rd November 2012 regarding all the improvements that can and should be made to combat Climate Change. As then, building up river banks is a priority, diverting or producing fresh tributaries to spread the amount of water from one route to several. There is work to be done and money to do it it should come from the overseas aid budget.
A point is the Collapse of the Bridge in Tadcaster that split the town with a ten mile detour involved instead of twenty yards. The Army should have been called upon to put a Bailey bridge in place immediately.
Where is the urgency that we are entitled to expect from the Environmental Agency?
**************************
The New Year’s Honours list brings another problem or two problems.
A woman who has made a fortune out of pornography, promoted to the House of Lords. A House that is already overloaded with Rich Friends and Geriatrics and should be reduced to half its present number.
There is so much good in our country but we need to get rid of the bad and encourage the good.
****************************
An immigrant has entered Britain illegally by walking thirty-one miles through the tunnel and is welcomed with open arms, given the usual free accommodation and spending money when he should have been arrested and returned to Calais.
This is a slap in the face for our own people who are denied accommodation
And benefits.
Prime Minister, it is up to you to see that the people you put in place to carry out this work, do it efficiently and with a sense of urgency.
Yours Sincerely

Norman must be the biggest thorn in the PMs arse he writes to him about once a week
