Pain rockets up the monsters leg as teeth sink into foreleg; Ailith was not asleep afterall. A throaty chuckle leaves the cannibals lips as dead eyes watch her in the darkness of the cave. his mind could remember when she had tried to tear them from her very body and now she defended them from him. How marvelous the psyche could be. Depositing the puppy Mars leans back to sit on his hind legs, pale lavender eyes never leave Ailiths; the crazed look he had added to them gave him a supreme feeling of satisfaction. He had done it; he had broken her - yet even broken she did not obey.
Snarling, the beast flashes stained daggers in warning at the white wolfess, how dare she continue to deny him after all he had done for her. Hackles rise along his monstrously overgrown body as Mars begins to pace in front of her. Massive paws echo against the cave, muted thuds, as aggravation rolls off his body in waves. Instincts tell him to lash out, show her who the most dominant is. But intelligence tells him otherwise. Ailith would rather be dead then with him anyways.
Appearing to calm himself the monster ceases his pacing and stands far enough from Ailith to avoid her teeth. Gesturing towards the sole female puppy of the litter with his muzzle his deep resonating voice breaks the tense silence. “Eto.” Deathly eyes of pale lavender switch from the perfect girl to the boys now and he moves before Ailith can stop him, grabbing the smaller male by the scruff and pulling him back away from his mother, making sure to keep his long limbs away from Ailiths teeth this time.
Mars places the puppy at his paws ignoring the mewls of protest and smiles at Ailith with all of his sickening charm. “You will name him or I will kill him, decide.”
Into these animals we grew; but when we were young our eyes were blue.
