For a moment her admittance was met only with silence. Nervousness ate at her stomach, twisting through her causing exhausted blackened limbs to shift slightly as ears flickered uncertainly. Was he annoyed? She would not have blamed him. The gilden mare was annoyed with herself, all the more so now she had voiced the truth and made the facts all the more real. The guilt would not be stilled. And in all honesty she almost wished for the steed to scold her for her foolish act. Anything could have happened. The sea's could have dragged her down into their frigid depths or washed her up to the mercy of who knew. Yet there she stood. Somehow she had made it. The wait that stretched out was turmoil enough however, the trembling of her side pressed against his not just from the cold.

One single word finally broke the silence. For a second Amica could only imagine she heard that joy in his tones, before the realisation sank in. The worries would return. There was no escaping them completely. For a first time mother it would have been natural enough, for her.. it was inevitable. "Thank you, Pagan," she uttered simply, emotions bubbling thick through her voice. Sighing softly eyes turned and gazed across the land, staring out to the unknown. Home. How strange. Breathing the scents of the cold air filled with his masculine musk slowly her head drooped, slipping into a drained doze, warmed and comforted by his steady presence at her side.
