This afternoon Marita, her mom,Meli and I took a trip around the swamp. We saw a beautiful dark phase Rough Legged Hawk on Ronald Rd. west of Minesing Village. It was hovering over the windy snow swept fields. Difficult hunting for sure.
On Strongville Rd where the road jags right before the metal elevators we saw a Snowy Owl on top of a hydro pole. Further on, another also atop a pole west of the corner where the old sky diving club was located. Both birds were on the small side with some barring. Probably males. Coming back we saw two Crows harassing a Raven on Snow Valley Rd. and the seventh concession. Replies: There have been no replies.
