I moved down to Indian Lake fulltime to the waterfront where I now live in 1989, from the farm in Putnam county. I then started to hone my 'skills on the nite-bite, but was only a Saugeye weekend warrior until I retired in 1999 - then by the early 2000s I became a very consistant sUMo I-Guy w/TOW (time on water).
So it req/s the better weekday nites for the midnight to dawn sUMo bite along with Mother Nature "skills to be fully rounded.
I 1st started coming to IL in the 1940s w/my Dad for Crappie -then when Uncle Sam cut me loose in 1965 from active duty (GPS ground-floor Programmer) -then I joined the IL Northside Bassmasters until the body said it was time to chase Eyes in the late 1980s.
Now I'm just a old fart plug-puller on the 'Chase...
