LIKE A WALK IN THE PARK, LIKE A HOLE IN YOUR HEAD
Ehiyeh stood in front of the other female a bit awkwardly, not exactly sure how to place herself in this situation. She tended to be on her own, and she preferred it that way, but she supposed there could be benefits in making... a friend? Was that what she was doing? It was strange to think that such an antisocial creature could ever make a friend but yet here she was, talking and socializing as someone normal might do. The stranger seemed talkative, and she found herself wondering if perhaps this had been a mistake. It was her fault after all, she could have simply turned the other way, but something had drawn her to talk to this female. Perhaps it was because although she was a wolf of few words and fewer friends, she was drawn to be social as all wolves were, instinctually.
"I have a lot of rabbits in my den. They are plentiful. Not my favorite thing to hunt. I usually eat them, because I have so many of them already." She commented in an off-handed way, seeing nothing wrong with what she was saying. Some might find it weird, the trophies that she kept in her den, but that wasn't her problem. "I learned to hunt all on my own." Her chest puffed out slightly with pride- it was, after all, the thing that she was most fond of. Ehiyeh was a natural-born hunter, it seemed, she had picked it up quite quickly and now it had become her specialty even at a young age. She felt no need to hunt for others, however, as they treated the animals they hunted with little care. Wolves had to eat but imagine a huge elk in her den? It would take up all the space but it would be a fine trophy indeed.
Her comment seemed to put the other girl in a foul mood, and Ehiyeh mentally cursed herself. She was unsure of the social bounds, and what was appropriate and not appropriate. It was difficult for her to remember these things. "I live by the sea too, in Glorall. I don't know my parents or siblings very well." She said with a shrug of her shoulders. It didn't bother her much, family was not very important to her. Of course she supposed that she loved them in her own way, but she was not necessarily close with any of them. She wasn't sure what had happened to her mother and her father was busy with other things, and the rest of her siblings were just as strange as she.
The other seemed to get over her mood quite quickly and Ehiyeh was grateful for that. The 'miss' threw her off a little bit- was she supposed to show that much respect to a stranger? It made her a little uncomfortable. "My name is Ehiyeh. There's... no need to call me miss, really." She said, discomfort showing in her pretty eyes. The compliment made her eyes widen and she stared at Charlotte for a moment in disbelief. "Pretty... you think I'm... pretty?" She had never really been complimented before and it was a strange sensation. "You are... pretty too, I think." She said quietly, softly as if she didn't want the other to hear.
