Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Note: Susil Crags will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

He stiffened and for a moment Gaia wondered if she had been too brash. But then she felt him relax and she did too. It was nice to be close to someone again, having spent the last several years on her own. He spoke again, apologizing for the small splash and she just shook her head. Then, he introduced himself. “Sciathàn,” she said, testing the name on her tongue and found herself liking it. “It’s nice to meet you, Sciathàn.” With the introductions out of the way, he gave her opinion of their new alpha and Gaia realized she liked listening to him talk. There was a smoothness in his voice that was pleasing to her ears. Could she blush at this thought, she would have been redder than she already was.

As he spoke, she listened carefully to his opinion of their new alpha. It was good for him to be protective of his sister and spoke about his drive to protect his family. Yet another thing that began to pull her towards him. “I think it’s wonderful that your sister has you to watch over her. My brother, Cae, was like that when we were younger. We were always close but recently he’s gone his own way.” For a moment, her eyes grew distant and sad as she thought of the silent wolf. But she shook herself out of it as Sciathàn began to speak again.

It was an invitation to join him in Spirane. But not just in the pack, but in the same den! Taken aback by the sudden request, Gaia stepped away from him to stare at the grey wolf to see if he was serious. His golden eyes gave away no lies as she saw his intentions were innocent and true. Then, slowly, a smile spread across her face. “I think that would be nice. It has been many moons since I have slept next to someone. I have been alone for a long time and a companion would be nice. Thank you, Sciathàn. I would like to see this den of yours, if that’s okay?”

(Sorry this post is so much fail. If you want, we can end it here and continue in Spirane. I would be happy to start a thread there for them if you want!)
