Thanks Bob. One of our feeder watchers saw it, and it was also seen by a staff member at Wye Marsh. Both thought it was a RBGR, and they are familiar with purple finch. I didn't know about it until I was entering the PFW data this w/e. As you say, too bad. Next year I'll suggest that all watchers let me know if anything unusual appears.
