GUIDELINES

- the Prairie stands as a symbol of peace and prosperity among the islands
- anyone is welcome to live here so long as they do not bring harm to the Prairie or any of it's residents
- adventure and exploration is not only allowed, but encouraged! residents are asked to use their better judgement and not travel to places that could bring them harm
- the head of the prairie has final say in all prairie matters. the secondary and third positions are not able to be challenged for and are selected by the head
- the guardians take on a more active role in the prairie; they must protect the inhabitants of the prairie and go on patrols of the prairie borderlines and shore. they can welcome strangers to the prairie and invite anyone to live here, though they must inform one of the leaders of any newcomers or visitors
One of the Earth

His hooves beat hard against the shores of the island. He did not care about the waves that crashed into his deep tan coat, nore the water and sand that colored his thick white knee-high socks. The rage that pulsed through him made the vanner course onto the beach and into the plains of the prairie, calling out with a fury the usual gentle beast had not felt in years.

How dare this stranger try to take her away from him! Abigail, the mare who was not even his who he held so close to his heart. He had given up his home, released his lands, but that did not mean he would not stand up and fight for the mare he had called sister. Though she was now free to roam the lands as she wished. Even in the rest of the world, he would walk by her side and defend her against stallions who tried to steal who she was.

Already deep in the grasses of the Prairie, Pagan lifted his voice and his hooves in a scream to the stallion who dared try to take one of the few things that remained to him. Ears laced back into this tri-colored mane while dark eyes gazed around for the offending stallion. Now homeless and loveless, he had nothing to fight for, but by the gods he was going to prove he was something to this world.
