Contract crap

Having skim read the contract it seems like we're going to get shafted as a profession with NROC. I can't quite work out exactly what the pay is going to be, but it seems like a bit of an insult that we're going to get a few thousand quid for what can be really quite tough on calls (I don't mean the tiny DGHs where nobody bothers you, I meant the bigger hospitals where you can get phoned through the night about loads of irrelevant stuff.

I would love to hand my notice in. Just as a point of principle. Unfortunately it would then mean that I cannot escape the NHS in a few years once my training is done. So I probably won't.
