What a morning at our feeder ( Midhurst). Dozens of siskins and Purple Finches. Mixed among the siskins, the first Redpoll I've seen all winter. A slightly unusual Am Tree Sparrow with distinct light outer tail feathers a la Vesper Sparrow. Tree Sp singing...always a treat! One lone Fox Sparrow de-thatching my lawn. A couple of Juncoes, and the usual goldfinches, chickadees, Wb and RB Nuthatches. The goldfinches are rapidly changing into their summer appearance. Replies:
