During the day, sentries guard the sleeping. When the sky is dark and the moon dances with the stars, this is when the real fun begins. Munashii Gekko's forest is the only haunt where you can find your local misfits all in one place. A land of the forbidden and forgotten, a place that is riddled with dangers of a whole different kind. The wolves here have long misplaced their rightful minds, and now live like creatures damned to prowl and lurk through the night. It's easy to lose yourself here, sanity was sure to fade away and wither; there was never anything normal about this nefarious nest. The silent threats that whispered in the breeze were enough to deter even the largest of demons around. It was not strength nor wit that ensured your survival here with Eric, and challengers would be torn down with a morose lethality - there was nothing left in his cold blue eyes that promised mercy to anyone who dared to overstep their worth. So, would you give up the sun for the moon and stars? Do you have enough vigor to become a well regarded sentry? - Put on a game face to step up and pass the sepia king's test or turn and leave before he catches your scent. You never know who wants to snack on your delicious blood in this forest.

A M E I R A

Along the long walk, Blood Titan had used the time wisely to try to decide some of the finer details of the pack, such as deciding what the ranks were to mean. He wanted each rank to have meaning, to have a specific job, and Ameira could not agree more. That was exactly what she had wanted for the pack since the very beginning, so that each wolf could find their full potential and could explore the things in life that pulled their attention the most. It took a while to finesse each rank, but they finally came to an agreement. Blood Titan changed his speaking to focus upon something else instead, addressing Horizon’s own rank. He had been given the rank of Zeta when first Ameira had taken the pack… but he deserved more and had proved himself worthy of more, so much more. Apparently, Titan trusted her assessment of him, and agreed, saying that he needed a higher rank, but that Horizon would be able to choose. Titan wanted to be able to address them after Ameira initially introduced him, and wanted to describe to them their new ranking system. The lassie shrugged – it mattered not to her if he took over that aspect of the meeting, and so when finally they had reached the center of the pack, she called for the pack instead of Blood Titan – she did not want the pack to be upset right off the getgo.

It was no surprise to her that Horizon was the first wolf to respond to her call, galloping up the hill and slipping carefully through the briar. However, his hackles rose as soon as he saw Blood Titan which, again, was no surprise. Horizon welcomed her home, but then addressed the elephant in the room, just as two others walked onto the scene – Danger and Nzingha. The lady only knew their names because she had watched Artemis and Horizon interact with the strangers at the boundary, interested to see how he would handle the situation. And so, even though they had never met one another, she knew their dubbance. Ameira smiled at Horizon first, her kissers curling tightly as she dipped her head. “You are not out of bounds at all my friend, no subject is ever taboo.” Turning her gaze to sweep to the two new members. “Nzingha and Danger I presume? As we have not met, I will first saw that it is nice to meet you, and I hope that you are finding Munashii Gekko to your liking, that you are able to call it home. I know it is not Bright Moon, but you are welcome here. As for Blood Titan, here, however, all shall be explained once the others have arrived. I am sure you all will not be the only ones confused. ” Ameira glanced toward her companion and he nodded at her and she dipped her head. It would not be long now.

Another laird arrived, one that she recognized as Summer, who had arrived with Danger and Nzingha. He rubbed against the lassie’s side and smiled at Horizon before he turned to address the Queen. Ameira nodded “You assume correctly, Summer, and it is nice to meet you as well. I accept your loyalty, and understand truly how difficult this all must be for you. Your expertise is noted and welcomed.” Finally, Karla arrived and Ameira smiled at her. “It is good to see you again as well, Karla. I am glad you have found the rest of your family.” After waiting for a few more minutes for Artemis, Mink, And Frio, she decided to start the meeting. “I want to thank all of you for coming. I am sure you have questions, which the two of us will address. This is Blood Titan, the laird who recently challenged me. While there, we had a discussion and came to the agreement that he will be taking over the pack.” She paused, sure that some of them would have something to say. “I will stay in my position of Alphess, but he will be the main power. He has more experience in such matters of politics and war, and is the best option for the pack. I am here to care for you all as I have been… believe me when I say that this is the best option for the pack, and that our future is all the brighter for including him. But please be open and tell us your thoughts… this pack will not succeed without all of you as well.” She took a step back and turned her amethysts upon the laird, waiting for him to introduce himself and to delve into the new ranking hierarchy.
