there's a stone around my leg

livamyyo

Livamyyo was a clever thing, and clever young girls learn from their mistakes. She had been foolish in her early months alone, venturing down to the shore she had been forbidden from visiting and even entertaining the briefest of conversations with its occupant. She had been too reckless and it had almost cost her – so easily she could have fallen under the golden beast’s spell. But Livamyyo was smart and she escaped unharmed. She was still not entirely sure how the creature had entered her jungle, but she had made sure to keep her distance from him and what she could only assume were his victims.

Flashes of light bounced off the young mare’s fiery red coat as she trotted her way through the dense vegetation in pursuit of her favourite spot to drink and admire the paradise she called home. She slowed when she reached the edge of a small pond, dropping her head to drink as her hooves made contact with the water. It was peaceful here, well tucked away from the parts of the paradise that saw frequent foot traffic and far away from where the other inhabitants of the paradise abode. This was hers and hers alone.

Fetlock deep in the water, the girl’s eyelids drooped and her tail swished idly. Now was as good a time as any to rest.
