Fall Out at Tiny Marsh

I heard the song of a Yellow-rumped Warbler immediately after stepping out of my car in the Tiny Marsh parking lot today at 3:30 p.m. (April 21st). I quickly grabbed by binoculars to view the source since this would be my second warbler for the season but the first for this species. I found the source at once, a brightly marked male Yellow-rumped Warbler. I didn't need to be in such a hurry since I heard and then found another and then another. I decided to check out the flock for other species like Pine, Palm or Black-and-White since these are also early warblers. I gave up after checking 200 birds, all brightly marked male Yellow-rumped Warblers and went to check out the field for sparrows. This was a Tiny Marsh fall out of Yellow-rumped Warblers that had just arrived and were feeding in the trees just before the evening rain arrived.
I found American Tree Sparrows, Song Sparrows, Swamp Sparrows and a Fox Sparrows plus several other early arrivals like Northern Flicker, Eastern Phoebe and a Northern Harrier flying from the marsh over the fields.
