Dark paws were placed firm upon the ground, the snow crunched perfectly underneath her paws from her weight, leaving a trail of her footprints behind her. Obsidian thick fur held a speckle of grey along the tips that were just now being noticeable underneath the blazing sun. Today Winter attempted to keep its grip within her land, her obsidian fur was spotted with the white snow that trickled from the dark grey clouds above. Her movements earlier that morning had been stiff, but now her muscles were warm, and her movement fluid once more. Tick Tock was well aware that the changes she was going through could not be evaded, but she could work with it and learn how best to deal with it. For now though she was more concerned with the well-being of her pack.
This spring there would be a litter of pups from Psyche and her imprint, Samhain, and she wanted to make sure they would be all right. Nakato would have received the same concern if only she would have approached Tick Tock and told her the good news. The pups and their parents would need to be taken care of to ensure that their lives would continue. The Monster was pleased to see that her pack was growing by numbers and flourishing. This year she hoped to have more wolves come, wolves that longed to find a home and live among wolves that accepted them, no matter their faults.
Her pack was unique, special, and she was pleased to have found herself, and them, a home. Spring was coming soon and the older pups would be given an increase of their responsible duties to help them keep the pack going well and strong. Nakato’s children would soon learn a special skill they wish to develop and use for the benefit of the pack. Her very own children were learning as much as they could to know what needed to be done as alpha. The pups that were with her the moment she took Asteraia would be adults...and she was quite proud to see how far they came. For now though she was content with her leisure stroll wondering what would be in store for her today.
