Bright Moon - a land sullied by mystery and the ravaging scars of a terrible fire. Abandoned as a pack land for years, the terra has been used as a gathering place for the brazen and bloodthirsty drawn there by the lingering pall of death. Yet from the ashes there comes an unordained phoenix, the rainbow hues of hope glinting in her mismatched globes. Through the obsidian drapes obscuring the scenery, she alone was able to catch the perfumed aroma of new life on the breeze and hear the sluggish streams flowing ever swifter into the morning.

Thus, with a purpose, she set out to map the incognita, discovering daily the extent of the reawakening and unearthing within herself a desire to return the landscape to its former glory. Now she stands tall as privileged Alpha of the lands, lording over the rock-strewn prairie and bountiful forests with a firm but gentle paw.

Having finally realized her deepest longing to be a queen, Satowra is focused solely on the revival and maintenance of the Bright Moon Pack. Her question to each prospective warrior that comes to the border is simple:

"Do you have what it takes?"

The bear had roared in rage when the brute had pushed the she-wolf aside, but still managed to bite her flesh even though it had only been a graze. And as Ursula called for her mate, her call was cut short by a scream from yet another wolf, another fae who rushed in to attack the great bear. Dante had attempted to slide beneath the bear to scratch at her abdomen, but the bear’s abdomen hung too low to the ground for the varg to get any real purchase on her flesh. Small, superficial scrapes cut through her flesh, piercing it, but the bear hardly noticed. Instead, she backed up a step and bent down to try to bite down on the wolf’s head that was now between her front paws… but her teeth merely scraped against the thin layer of skin laying atop the skull, her jaw not being at the correct angle to get a good hold on the wolf’s skull. The wound would bleed profusely, but would heal just fine as long as it was kept clean. As Dante scurried away from the bear, with the bees stinging her, Ursula glanced up, still nearly blind from the stinging wasps and the inflamed skin around her eyes, but saw the brute who had pushed the small she-wolf out of her way run at her. Ursula reared up on her hindquarters and pulled her leg safely away from his probing teeth and struck out at him. The tips of her claw just managed to scrape at Dakota’s flesh as he dodged away from her…

Ursula had every intention to follow after Dakota and attack him… but then ringing footprints sounded behind her… the first wolf she had attacked was going after her again! His teeth sunk down into the flesh of her hind limb, but as she had begun to turn to face him, his teeth merely tore flesh free from around her hock, missing her bone completely. Ursula continued her swing around and swiped out at him as well, her claw caught him full on. The full power of her shoulder was behind her strike and did a significant amount of damage… planting a wound on him that impaired his motion and would be fatal if it was not treated… and fast…

And then came the sound of a thousand footfalls behind her, scurrying up the brush… had the wolves come with more? Ursula screamed in rage and turned to face them, but could not focus on their forms – her vision was too marred by the inflammation cause by the wasp stings… and so she turned and ran from the wolves… ran as quickly as she could and could only hope that at some point, she would find their mate an that they would return to this pack an reclaim it.
