There is a pair of Eastern phoebes and some cliff swallows -- or are they barn swallows? -- setting up shop under the Willow Creek bridge on St. Vincent Street, Barrie. And neither species seems very happy about it. At lunchtime today, the phoebe was attacking the swallows whenever they flew under the bridge or along the creek to feed near the bridge.
