BFNC Tiny Marsh trip report May 14 2016

Seven people turned out to bird at Tiny Marsh. Rain with cool temperatures, 9 to 11 degrees C.,kept the number of species counted at 35. Not good birding weather, though the previous night's overcast skies probably dropped a lot of birds in the area. Some notables were Veery, Sandhill Crane, a pair of Virginia Rails.
Warblers included Yellow, Chestnut-sided, Y.Rumped, Palm, Am. Redstart, Common Yellowthroat, Northern Waterthrush. We concluded the trip at 11 am. due to increasing rain.
