We've had similar interesting switch arounds this year--in particular all of our orioles munching on suet and sunflower as well as oranges and nectar--we haven't observed that before. Also had a scarlet tanager spend a few moments at the oranges before the orioles shooed him away--great to get such a close look--but of course, no camera handy--dang!
