Yes, a female was confirmed in Tennessee last year, unless a hoax with the bloody arrowhead was involved. I don't doubt the remote camera photos from western TN. Altogether, there were six confirmations between Sept. 20 and December 18. As far as I know, there have been none since. The various deer seasons in this part of TN ran from Sept 26-January 10, 2016. I fear that the TN cougar "disappeared" (i.e., was shot illegally and not reported).
